Inspired by the flavors of pasta carbonara, this flavorful supper dish is quick to fix using Green Giant® frozen baby Brussels sprouts.
oz uncooked whole grain linguine
box (10 oz) Green Giant™ frozen baby Brussels sprouts & butter sauce
tablespoons fat-free (skim) milk
tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled
In 3-quart saucepan, cook pasta as directed on package. Drain; return to saucepan.
Cook Brussels sprouts as directed on box; pour over drained pasta in saucepan. Stir in milk; cook over medium heat until hot.
Remove from heat; stir in cheese and bacon. Serve immediately.
Just add a salad, and you have a quick meal!
For a heartier dish, add 1 cup cubed cooked chicken breast when adding the milk; heat thoroughly.
