Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked pork Andouille sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 2 3/4 cups hot water
  • 1 box (6.1 oz) Hamburger Helper™ Bold Firehouse Chili Macaroni
  • 1 can (14 1/2 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper

Steps

    In 10-inch skillet, brown sausage over medium-high heat 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until starting to brown.

    Stir in hot water, uncooked pasta and sauce mix (from Hamburger Helper box), tomatoes, onions, peppers and celery. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.

    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; uncover (sauce will thicken as it stands). Stir before serving.
