Ingredients

  • 1 crust from 1 box (14.1 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Pie Crusts (2 Count), softened as directed on box
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons bourbon, if desired
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups pecan halves
  • 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips, melted, cooled

Steps

    Heat oven to 350°F. Place pie crust in 9-inch glass pie plate as directed on box for One-Crust Filled Pie.

    In large bowl, beat sugar, corn syrup, flour, bourbon, butter, vanilla and eggs with wire whisk. Stir in pecans and melted chocolate. Pour into crust-lined pie plate.

    Bake 48 to 50 minutes or until set. Cool completely on cooling rack, about 2 hours.

    Serve slices of pie with sweetened whipped cream. For an extra kick, add bourbon to the whipped cream (1 tablespoon bourbon to 1 cup whipped cream).
