Ingredients

  • 3 cups shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1 1/2 cups (from 16-oz bag) coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage and carrots)
  • 1 cup fresh sugar snap peas, trimmed
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup very thinly sliced red onion
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup Chinese chicken salad dressing
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons slivered almonds

Steps

  • 1
In large bowl, mix lettuce, coleslaw mix, peas, carrots and onion. In small bowl, mix mayonnaise, salad dressing and honey with wire whisk until smooth.
  • 2
Add dressing mixture to salad; toss to mix. Sprinkle with almonds.

Tips from the Betty Crocker Kitchens

  • tip 1
Instead of the Chinese dressing, mix 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 3 tablespoons citrus vinaigrette dressing, 1 tablespoon soy sauce and 1 tablespoon honey.
  • tip 2
For the best results, toss the dressing with the salad ingredients just before serving.
