Apple Butter Cake Roll
"This is in response to a previous review..Waxed paper and parchment paper are not the same thing..There are no properties in the waxed paper to keep it from sticking to a baked product even with spraying or greasing..That is why recipes specify. I have never heard of using waxed paper for anything except rolling out dough on or wrapping it for putting in the fridge.Parchment is always used to bake on.Not interchangeable."

Caramel Cream Puffs with Chocolate-Peanut Butter Sauce
"The oven setting is right there is black and white under step 3.. Adjust oven rack to lowest position. Heat oven to 400°F. Line cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper if desired."

Salted Caramel Turtle Triangles
"I didnt have any problems with the caramel layer that others did. I have no idea what they did. Mine came out fine. It was soft but did not run over the edges and tasted very good."

Layered Caramel Candy Bar Cheesecake
"I am going to try to make this for a party this weekend..looks good! For the previous comment about "calories"..There are many websites out there in which you plug in the ingredients and magically, in seconds it figure it out for you."

Mini Apple Crostatas
"I have to agree with lisafulx. Videos are a help. Most sites assume that the baker has some common sense and doesnt have to have their hand held during the entire prep and baking process..Here is what you dont need to see in the video..How to handle crust.Read instructions on the box, unfold the dough and smooth, take a cutter and cut circles. The apples, take 1 large apple and cut into small slices and divide them amongst the 4 cut out circles. Some apples are quite large and given the size of the circles it is perfectly reasonable that one could be divided amongst 4. Take the slices and toss them in the sugar/cinnamon.When the cinnamon sticks to the apple they magically take on the brown color of the cinnamon. Now, look at the picture and you can see how and where to pinch the dough to create the outer crust. Bake. problem solved."

Impossibly Easy Bacon Cheeseburger Pie
"Just a note about the previous review. The instructions tell you to heat up the bacon in the pan then drain and brown the meat in the same pan. There is no need for 2 pans especially when they tell you how to use 1."

"Has anyone actually tried this? I would like to read reviews of the recipe instead of commentary about ingredients or cooking methods before I try to make this. "

No Bake Cheesy Skillet Lasagna
"I never thought the day would come when you required instructions to figure out how to divide a recipe into 6 servings. Think about pizza cut into 6 slices and visualize your pan the same way. Another way is to measure the completed dish for yield and then divide it out yourself."

Chicken and Ravioli Carbonara
"I agree with nspmoore..I thought one fourth of the recipe would be easy to figure out..If a pizza recipe says it serves 4 you cut 4 pieces. Easy problem solved. I tried this and every bite was eaten and got compliments. I will be trying again! "

Cheesy Italian Tenderloin Steaks
"I agree with kellyh1974...These comment boards are filled with comments about nutrition, ingredients and recipes no one has tried..I believe Facebook would be a good place for things like that..I thought these were for the purpose of reviewing recipes that people actually tried... I thought this was good..I had to cut it down a bit because I was only making it for 2 but I thought it was very good and my brother loved it as part of his birthday dinner...i will try again! "

Quick Chicken Quesadillas
"When I go on sites like Betty Crocker or Pillsbury I expect to find their products showcased.I think perhaps some dont understand that is exactly why they have a recipe site. For those who dont want too see product placement I suggest you try one of the thousands of regular recipe sites out there not generated by a product company.I the same can be said of the next review. When I look for "healthy" or "home made" recipes I dont expect to find them here. You need to try the healthy living websites that provide low sodium etc recipes and ones that dont require premade products. That said I thought these were good and they were gone in record time.My brother and niece loved them."

Easy Weeknight Bacon Mac 'n Cheese
"This is for Gamma25..The point of the sauce is that if you didnt use it you would have nothing but plain pasta with melted cheese..Mac and cheese is usually a cheesy sauce and not plain pasta with melted cheese only."

Slow Cooker Chocolate Lava Cake
"I agree with AngieMcG, I have made many versions of this idea both in the oven and a couple slow cooker recipes. Part of it is always very liquid which you pour over the cakey part when you spoon it out. It always ends up like a chocolate syrup and not like a pudding if that is what people are expecting. Every one of these type have ended up like that no matter how it is cooked, oven or slow cooker."

Smoky Cheddar Potatoes
"Shilouette: I dont have a grill either. There are many recipes like this I would like to try in the oven.I dont know why they dont include oven info.I have even written the company asking for advice because I am not that creative and they simply give a form reply that it is recommended for the grill. Make-Ahead White Chicken Lasagna
"In reply to blondies: I havent made this yet but yes..it sits and soaks all night..I have made recipes similar to this..the sitting softens the noodles and absorbs the liquid so by the time you put it in the oven it is basically ready..Just so you know..I have found items made like this the pasta can end up a little more al dente than you would probably do if you boiled them ahead. I have had times where they ended up really al dente and other times just right. It depends alot on the type of pasta used and how much liquid there is to absorb but you cant tell until you try it once to know whether to adjust it the next time."

Cake Batter Pancakes
"I agree with Annie74..Too many times I have read commentary about recipes people never even tried, commentary about nutrition or ingredients that they had issue with etc.Facebook is a good place for stuff like that.It is quite annoying to see negative reviews based on personal opinion and not fact based on actually making it.In this case the person did make it and tried it so I read their review and took it into consideration.I did try this for my niece and she liked it very much.It is something I would make for a treat.Luckily her favorite is yellow cake which fits right in."
