"Wow! I can't believe the reaction I got from making this cake. I made it for someone's birthday(by request of their wife). I decided on this recipe because of the great reviews, & boy, was it worth it! Since I was making it for a birthday, I made it a bit more special by adding diced fresh strawberries to in-between the layers, & top of the cake, & coconut to the top & sides of the cake. Everyone especially liked that touch! And my friend's husband? "Wow, this is awesome. It's so moist," "seriously, this is the best lemon cake I have ever tasted!" And when someone else came for a piece, he said, "try it now. I want to see your reaction when you taste it." So, I will absolutely be making this cake again. Thanks for such a great recipe, & for helping me to make a friend's birthday a bit more special! "

"Just made this for the first time, & it turned out great! Easy recipe, & quite moist & tasty. My husband said, "make it again and again!" I told him it was a "dangerous" bread...very hard to keep from eating it all at once! Most definitely will make this bread again. "

"I have made this recipe 3 times, & every time it has disappeared quickly. Everyone raves about the combination of oatmeal & cranberries. I've never cared for lemon zest (don't like the taste), so I substitute pure lemon extract instead, & I like the light lemon flavor I can detect. The second time I made them was for work, & I'd made two other items...these bars went the fastest! The last time I made these were for church potluck, & there was one lady who really liked these. And she told me she normally never likes things with cranberries in them! Definitely a recipe I'll keep making! "

"Not sure how to rate a recipe I haven't tried yet. I've just seen this recipe while looking for a new way to use ripe bananas. Looks interesting, but why does it say "1 medium banana," & not a measurement? "Medium" could be different for everyone. Just concerned that not the right amount of banana (too much or too little), might make the cookies not turn out properly. Would it be possible to give a measurement? Thanks!"

"I made this dish a couple of months ago, when butternut squash was in season. I thought it was a good combination of flavors. I did replace the sausage w/ vegetarian sausage since I was making it for a vegetarian. Still good taste! I did have to cook the dish a bit longer than stated on the recipe, since the squash wasn't done enough. All in all, this will be one of my autumn dishes to make!"

"I made this bread last month, as a Christmad present for someone w/ kids. It turned out well, though w/ my oven, I had to bake it several minutes longer than stated on the recipe. I got a good report back about the bread: my friend said that when his kids saw this bread, they said it didn't look like bread, it looked like a yummy dessert! And it was well-enjoyed by them all! I will definitely make this bread again, because I want to try it myself!"

"Just made these muffins this morning. They were a great compliment to the fruit salad! My hubby loved them, & said he'd definitely like them again. They were very easy to make, soft, moist & tasty. I only made one change. I don't care for the taste of any type of zest, so I substituted lemon extract for the zest. For those of you who wish for more lemon flavor, try using lemon extract instead. The lemon flavor will definitely be noticeable, but not overpowering. I look forward to making these again! "

"Just made this bread today. I doubled the recipe so we could have a loaf at home, & I could give a loaf to a family my husband knows. It turned out fine, though I had to increase the baking time at least 30 min. My husband told me his friends have already enjoyed the pumpkin bread..the dad had 3 pieces right away! We've also enjoyed some. A moist bread, with a great combination of pumpkin, pecans & cranberries. Will be making this again!"

"Absolutely scrumptious! I made these a couple of months ago. I used fresh blueberries. They turned out great, & I took them to my church potluck, & they disappeared so quickly! I've been asked to make them again, but I told the person that they would have to wait until next year. I would only want to use fresh blueberries, & we don't get good quality ones here during the winter. This is definitely one dessert I'll be making next summer! "

"I followed some of the ideas I read in the reviews, & mine turned out great! I cut the butter (in the crust) to 1 cup, & increased the apples to 3 cups. I have made the recipe this way twice. Both times I got rave reviews, & ended up w/ an empty pan. I'll definitely be making this again! "

"I rarely make pies w/ homemade crust, in part because I could never seem to make a good crust! However, I recently tried this recipe because I needed a lard-free pie crust. Thank you, Betty Crocker, for a recipe that a novice pie maker found very easy to use! I got more than one compliment on my tasty, flaky pie crust. I will definitely use this recipe again!"

"I recently made this soup. First it was just for my husband & me. He's vegetarian, so I substituted a vegetarian "meat" for the chicken...we both enjoyed it! Then I made it for church potluck a couple of weeks ago. We have some church members who eat a vegan diet, so I found a vegan-based meat substitute to use the 2nd time. The only other change I made was to reduce the spice, since most of those I was making it for wouldn't have enjoyed it so spicy. The result??....it was a hit!! I received several compliments. Thanks for an easily-adaptable recipe! I will be making this soup again. "

"I actually made this cake a couple of months ago for church potluck. It did take some time to make, but was well worth the effort. The cake looked great, & tasted delicious! The only mistake I made, was making it on a day when the weather was hot & humid. My icing kept melting until I came up with an emergency procedure: put the cake in the fridge for a few minutes, & then finished icing it in the livingroom (where the air conditioner was)! I left the cake in the fridge overnight, & the next day, too, until it was ready to be cut. That didn't affect the texture at all, & it actually made it much easier to cut. Everyone loved the cake, & I came home w/ an empty plate. I would definitely make this recipe again!"

"Yes, it was a bit time-consuming, but well worth the effort. I made this cake for church potluck, & even though I had a couple of mishaps (one being the frosting melting in the heat whie I was trying to frost the cake!), the cake turned out fantastic!. It had a good flavor, & everyone at church raved about it. I came home with an empty cake carrier. I will definitely make this cake again!"
