"What a super fun idea to give! You can use a mason jar to store the vodka - it will last several weeks in the fridge before the flavor starts to decline. You can also store vodka in the freezer. Since it has a high alcohol content, it won't get solid or expand. Yeah! "

"E-ticket-lizabeth - I recently was making banana bread and didn't have enough banana so added enough pumpkin to make up the difference - everyone loved it! I would recommend you add some spice along with the pumpkin - yum."

"You can mix the cake by hand but it won't be quite the same texture as mixed with an electric mixer. The mixer incorporates more air into the batter for a lighter cake. The recipe was created with an electric mixer and all the kitchen testing was done with a portable electric mixer - a favorite Betty Crocker recipe!"

"This is a great make ahead - refrigerate a day before baking or freeze for a couple of months tightly covered. You might want to thaw overnight in the fridge. Baking will take an extra 15 minutes since it's starting cold."
