Zesty White Bean Burgers
"3 stars for the original recipe as it was a bit bland. After some adjustments I give it 5 stars. I ended up using chipotle panko instead of plain bread crumbs and as per other reviewers suggestions I used pepper jack cheese instead of Monterey. I nixed the bun and put the burger over lettuce with a slice of tomato on top, yum! Definitely a recipe worth trying but I suggest adding seasonings (to your liking) to give it more flavor. Will be making again for sure."

Cheesy Ham Breakfast Casserole
"Very good even without sitting overnight, although I'm sure this step would further improve the taste. I made this a second time (again without sitting overnight) and added tomatoes, onions as well as onion powder and garlic powder. This recipe is a keeper."

Cranberry-Couscous Salad
"This was DELICIOUS! I omitted the green onions, only because I didn't have them on hand at home. It's a great combination of textures and flavors. I enjoyed it both hot and cold and it's great all on its own."

Double-Chocolate Strawberry Pancakes
"These were AMAZING! I also agree that I'm sure it's not meant for an every day breakfast choice. I made these for my mom as a special brunch together but substituted dark chocolate cocoa and dark chocolate chips since those are her favorite. We didn't have fresh strawberries but the strawberry syrup was a nice touch. Will definitely make again."

Creamy Artichoke Appetizers
"These were a little time consuming/involved but very good. I followed the recipe exactly except for 1/2 cup less mayo as other reviewers have suggested and I'm glad I did. I also added some pancetta to the top because I thought it would be a nice addition."

Sweet and Spicy Shrimp
"This was easy to prepare but lacked something in flavor. For us it had a slight kick but other than that it was kind of plain. I did find that adding hoisin sauce helped afterwords and I'll probably use that as the base for my sauce next time with some other additions. I also used baby corn, water chestnuts, mushrooms and bean sprouts...you will need to increase the sauce if you are adding more veggies than the recipe above calls for, I doubled it but am thinking triple may have been better. I served it over rice but I'm sure it would be good over chinese noodles to give the dish a different texture."

Creamy Quinoa Primavera
"LOVE this recipe! I do use more garlic and light cream cheese like other reviewers have suggested (3-4 oz instead of 2). I also use a harvest blend that has israeli style couscous, orzo, baby garbanzo beans and red quinoa. Very filling and tasty dinner option."

Breakfast Quinoa
"I really enjoy quinoa but this was too bland and not sweet enough for my tastes. Maybe a differnt variety of fruits would help?"

Quick Ham and Cauliflower Soup
"Big disappointment. Yes it was quick and easy but it lacked flavor and I can't put my finger on what it needed. Maybe a different cream base with actual potatoes instead of boxed?"

Slow Cooker Chicken-Barley Stew
"VERY Good but I did make the following changes: - all chicken broth; although next time I will add another cup or so because there wasn't enough liquid...I know "stews" are thicker but I just prefer it more soupy - 1 cup barley - Diced tomatoes with green chilies instead of plain (we like spicy at my house) - I also cubed and cooked 3 chicken breasts in some minced garlic, ground black pepper and onion before throwing it all into the crock pot towards the end with the thyme and parsely so that the chicken wasn't dry"
