Old-Fashioned Bread Pudding
"This was good. After researching other recipes online, they all said to use 4 eggs. So I increased the eggs to 4. I heated the milk and butter. Then added all of the ingredients and put in the crock pot for 3 hours. I did add an additional 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg along with the 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Other recipes called for 1 cup of raisins, that is waaaay too much. Use 1/2 cup of raisins like this recipe says!"

Hot German Potato Salad
"It was "okay". I thought it was dry in the end so I added some more water and vinegar... still missing something."

Bacon-Cornbread Stuffing
"This was great! I did not taste the green pepper at all. I should have cooked the bacon a little longer because it was chewy in my dish, but very flavorful. Excellent! Next time, I would like to try flavored herb bread crumbs, instead of cornbread crumbs."

Parmesan Cheese Ball
"This year, I cut the recipe in half and rolled half in nuts and the other in parsley. Guest voted that the parsley was even better. I also double the garlic powder, but I felt it was saltier this year. I'm not sure if I accidentally doubled the salt too or if the extra garlic powder made it saltier. Try rolling the cheese roll in Parsley!"

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies
"I took the suggestion of others to add 1/2 teaspoon of ginger. These are creamy and good! I am making these for my family thanksgiving dinner. I picked up the cranberry dish that hadn't turned into a gelatin yet, I accidentally spilled cranberries on some of the cookies. It made them even tastier! Very yummy!! I didn't make the cream, I just wanted a pumpkin cookie!"

Bacon and Hash Brown Egg Bake
"I'm going to update my review. It is very bland like others were saying. You can't taste the flavor of the vegetables or egg or cheese. I think the frozen bland potatoes ruin the dish. I think if those were made from scratch, then maybe the other flavors would come out too."

"I made this today. It was good. I made it with spinach, onions and honey mustard instead of dijon(?). It needs salt and pepper."

Cheesecake Pancakes
"The pancake batter is GREAT!!! I omitted the graham cracker because I didn't have any. The cream cheese adds a sour taste to the pancake. BUT if you knew it was suppose to be "cheese cake" then it's good, but if you served this at a group breakfast with no name, it would be a sour taste like. I'm serving this at a group breakfast and I don't think people would take it well. I'm going to fill with Nutella but use this batter, they will be perfect! Thanks!"

Ultimate Melt-in-Your-Mouth Pancakes
"The recipe on the back of the box is slightly different. It says 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, tsp of vanilla, sugar and baking soda. I could taste the lemon juice because I knew it was there. I would make this again but without the lemon juice. My husband liked it. Why add lemon juice though?"

Better-Than-Almost-Anything Cake
"Good! I made it for my coworkers bday. It is very sweet so cut small slices. I used fudge and caramel. I don't clearly understand why you put the holes in the cake because the directions say to drizzle the liquid topping evenly over the entire cake not just in the holes."

Chocolate Sandwich Cookie Cake
"No, this was not good. The "cake" is actually a very bland brownie. I do not recommend. I have the William-Sonoma Cookie Cake Pan. I thought this might be a goood recipe to use it but it's too bland. Nothing wow about it. I wish I would have eaten the oreos before wasting them in this cake!"

Bananaberry Bread
"This was great! I apologize, but I never have buttermilk so I used 2% milk and I didn't notice a difference. I did add nutmeg and vanilla as other's had suggested, but I really don't think that made that much of a difference either. I cut the recipe in half and used 1 8x4 pan and baked for about 50 minutes. As always.. if it's betty crocker it is Delicious!"

Cherry Swirl Coffee Cake
"I made 2 seperate pans. I made half the batter with blueberry pie filling and the other half of the batter with apple pie filling. I also read the other's reviews and used doulbe the pie filling (so 21oz per pan) and decided to add applesauce to the batter in the hope that it wouldn't be dry. This turned out like a biscuit with fruit on it. However, after 2 days it was less dry-maybe because of the fruit soaking into the bread. But this is not a fabulous coffee cake for me. I need to keep looking."

Strawberry Cream Cheese Trifle
"Excellent and so easy! It was so tasty. I used Whipped cream from a can instead of Whipping Cream. I just had too much whipped cream at my house. Whipping Cream can be expensive too. Anyway, I used aprox 2 cups of whipped cream from a can. Blended on high for a little while and it worked perfectly! I also made individual trifle's in small cocktail cups-12 each."

Red Velvet Rich and Creamy Cookies
"Yup, these were good. But they really just tasted like a brownie with cream cheese icing. However, I must be honest, I accidentally forgot sour cream on my shopping list. So I used cream cheese instead. The mix was too dry with just that, so I added some milk. I used a small ice cream scooper to place on the pan because I didn't want the dye all over my hands. I always bake at a lower temp than what Betty recommends. I baked at 350 for 10-11 minutes. Perfect! I also used Green food coloring to make Green Velvet Cookies to go with my Strawberry Cream Cheese Trifle. It made a xmas holiday treat!"

Tiramisu
"This was GREAT! I used shortbread cookies for this. I made this twice so far. It's so easy that it is fun to make! The first time I used Lorna cookies. The second time I used Keebler Shortbread cookies. I think the Lorna cookies were a little better, but they are more expensive."
