Easter Basket Cupcakes
"I've been making these for years - always a big hit with the family and neighbors with whom I share. I gave up trying to use candy for handles and now just use pipe cleaners. Perfect size, no measuring or cutting required."

Irish Cream Celebration Cake
"Revelationgirl, it's actually just the oppsoite. If your cake stuck to the pan, take it out after 5 min instead of 10. The longer it sits in the pan and cools, the harder it will be to get out. If you are having that much of a problem with sticking, try using parchment paper or wax paper circles in your pans before pouring in the batter..."

No-Bake Cookies
"Brendasample - 1/4 lb butter equals 1 stick equals 1/2 cup. One lb of butter has 4 sticks, so 2 cups in the whole pound."

Easy Whiskey Cake
"I used French vanilla cake mix instead of yellow (so many of the reviewers recommended it, and I heartily agreed after tasting it); and due to our high altitude here in Albq, NM, I added 1/3 c. flour and an extra 1/4 cup Jack Daniels to the batter. Also in Step 6, to the reserved 1 1/2 cups icing, I added not only walnuts but also about 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar, so it would be more like a runny frosting than just more of the liquid glaze. I got three 8x5" loaves and four 5x3" loaves out of the recipe. (Of course you can cut the recipe in half if you aren't giving as gifts.) I made them on Sunday and served on Thursday, allowing plenty of time for the glaze to soak in. I don’t normally like booze mixed in my sweets, but this cake was fabulous, I have to say. And everyone who tried it agreed. "

Giant Ganache-Topped Whoopie Pie
"I also made the cake as directed on the box, with my high-altitude adjustments as always. I used an 8" pan to make the layers a little thicker. After cooling I put one layer in the freezer for an hr or so to firm it up before splitting the layer. (Saved the other layer for this weekend - yum!) Had no problem with the filling at all, it looked/spread just like the pic. But next time I will only use 1/2 c. butter in the filling instead of 3/4 - just a bit too buttery/greasy for my taste. I highly recommend chilling the cake before spreading the filling. My first attempt at ganache was a huge success! The whole cake was a huge success for my granddaughter's 15th birthday. :)"

Easy Monster Cookies
"To Jenniemhere: "Monster" refers to the size, since you use a 1/4 cup measuring cup to portion out the dough. "

Touchdown Brownies
"Note to Terrisiriq: These brownies are not meant to be frosted - and the Wilton football cookie cutter makes quick work of cutting them out (the right tool for the job and all that). These football brownies are a Super Bowl tradition at my house - My family fights over the ends and pieces and my guests rave over the cute football shape."

Easy Monster Cookies
"I have to disagree with the reviewer who said there was no need for M&Ms with the chocolate chip cookie mix. I made these cookies with my 5-yr-old granddaughter and three of her friends, and we not only included the M&Ms, we also added more chocolate chips, plus peanut butter chips to kick up the PB flavor. They were FABULOUS! It wasn't just the kiddies who couldn't stop eating them - just delicious. My husband called them "dangerous" to have in the house..."
