I've used this sauce in my enchiladas for years, but the last time I made them something didn't seem right...they turned out watery. I just made them for dinner this evening, and realized as I was pouring the sauce that IT didn't look right. I tasted it and thought maybe it was bad. Thin and not as flavorful. Sure enough, same result when I cooked the enchiladas. Seems the recipe for the sauce has changed. It tastes like watered down ketchup now. Disappointing...this used to be very good.

This sauce used to be the best in the world as my family has enjoyed it for many years but the new recipe has made it so bland that I can't even enjoy it anymore. I am up for change as it generally improves a product but in this case it was for the worse. This is the second time in several years that I have noticed Old El Paso change the recipe from thick red to thinner red to now a watery orange color. I am now left with such bland flavor in this sauce that I have felt forced to look for a replacement sauce on the market. Please bring back the old flavor. My family misses it.
