I love the betty crocker line of mac and cheese. My husband always preferred the velveeta kind of mac and cheese and i always preferred the kraft kind. This is a perfect compromise. It's cheesy enough for him and is creamy and has the noodles I love. We only recently tried the cheese pizza flavor and although it is a bit different, it is delicious. It did take a few bites to get used to the fact that your mac and cheese tasted like pizza, but once you get over the initial "shock" it is very good. Definately buying more!

I bought the original mac and cheese and I have to say we LOVED it! I did NOT cook it according to directions on the box. I cooked the mac in water, drained and added milk, butter and cheese. I will definitely be buying this weekly. Unlike Kraft, which is way too salty, we actually got macaroni in the box! I say hurray for Betty Crocker! They seen an opportunity to capitalize on Kraft's mistake in shrinking their macaroni. The added benefit of less salt is a plus! Salt can always be added 'to taste' but it having to drink a gallon of water for hours after eating is no fun! I will continue to cook it my way instead of box directions and I give this a thumbs UP!!!!!

This is the worst mac and cheese I have ever had. I will stick to the generic walmart brand before eating this again. I can't beleive such a reputable company would put out such a horrible product

Wow...I can't believe anything sold at the store in a box could be so bland & disappointing.

Very disappointed in this product. Will be sticking to Kraft Mac and Cheese it tastes better and is easier to make.

I tried all three different flavors, and like everyone else said... this is by far the worst mac and cheese on the market. I'll continue to buy the higher priced versions. There is a reason it is $1.00.

Forgot to add the butter and it exploded all over my stove and under the burners! The amount of time spent cleanning it up, I could have made a much better version from scratch!

I bought this brand because it was cheap and it had the box tops for the school. Worst mac and cheese ever!! I usually buy the store brands and they are very good compared to this. Sometimes I add garlic salt to add flavor to bland store brands, so I added some to this too it didn't help! I couldn't finish it. Nasty DO NOT BUY THIS!!

I purchased a couple boxes of the Cheese Pizza and Original Flavors and just made the Cheese Pizza flavor for lunch. At first I was a bit put off by the ingredients needed. The amount of milk and butter required made me wonder. Plus the cooking directions were also a bit strange for a Mac and Cheese. Cooking it made me think of a hamburger helper or other pasta-based box dinner (not Mac and Cheese) and it took a while before I could taste the cheese pizza flavor in the sauce. The noodles are thick, but have an odd texture for Macaroni. They fell apart in my mouth when I was checking the texture to know if it was ready to eat and the proscribed 12 minutes cooking time had not yet passed. I added some cut up hot dogs to make the meal somewhat more substantial, but in the end, my opinion is that the flavor does not lend itself to the medium and the cooking requirements make for a meal that isn't quick enough and also a bit pricy as no other mac and cheeses in similar boxes call for an entire cup of milk. I suggest that the folks at Betty Crocker's kitchens go back to the kitchen with this one. I'm not sure I want to try the original flavor now.
