Absolutely disgusting. Bought by accident, wasted milk, butter, noodles, the powder is f'n disgusting. Do they dig it out of dead bodies? Smell the powdered "cheese" before you waste the noodles. The noodles are fine, so 1star for that. Tossed the batch into the backyard and the skunks left the sauciest parts behind. Disgusting. *Puke*

I'm not sure how this product got the two out of five stars that it has. This is probably the worst tasting food I have ever tried. I would rather eat my own vomit before I ever ate this smelly plastic food product again. My fat cat that eats whole bags of potato chips won't even get near it. This nasty mac and cheese has caused myself and my family physical and emotional pain. I paid for a $1 box of macaroni and cheese and ended up paying for a new pot to cook in because of the nasty smell and a can of air freshener to attempt to cover up the smell. Don't buy this horrible food, please do yourself a favor and starve before putting yourself through the trauma.

O.M.G. this stuff is hideous. Neither my kids nor my grandkids will eat it. Swing and a miss! Yuck. Tastes like cheap catsup.

I am so relieved I am not the only one that finds this disgusting!! It smells like rotting brussels sprouts!! Even with the smell I tried tasting it and it doesn't taste anything like pizza. I picked up the pizza flavor by mistake. They REALLY need to redesign the box so it is easier to see the different flavors. Maybe that's the only way they can sell the pizza flavored ones. I have bought BC for years and loved the products but with this you are giving yourself a bad reputation.

My pregnant wife received a free box of BC Cheese Pizza Mac & Cheese at a grocer in San Antonio. This product is awful. My 5 year old daughter's exact words were, "what's that yucky smell?" She refused to eat not only the Mac and cheese, but only thing else on the plate with it. I tasted it. It smells awful and does not taste good at all. I now understand why it was a gift.

This is awful. It was on sale at the store so I thought I would try it. Big mistake. Everyone could only stomach one bite. The smell and taste is just awful. Unfortunately I have another box but I won't be able to make it.

It was horrible! I threw the whole pan away. I thought my son was going to throw up! I thought the milk had gone bad, but the milk was fine.

The worst stuff I have ever tasted! Didn't they actually get a human being to taste test this stuff in their kitchens before putting it on the market? I cooked the noodles and as soon as I melted margarine with that and the cheese sauce packet, this foul, artificial, toxic smell began to engulf my entire kitchen. I thought maybe at least it tastes better than it smells but could only take 2 bites of it before deciding to throw the entire pot away. I was afraid that it was going to be as toxic as it tasted and was not ready to die just yet. I would have been better off drinking a bottle of antifreeze or drano! I then had to spray the kitchen with air freshener because even the smell was lingering too much long after I disposed of this mess and got it out of the house, but the smell that stayed behind was getting me sicker.

I accidentally grabbed one regular Betty Crocker mac and cheese, and one box of Betty Crocker Cheese pizza. Since I made the regular cheese box first - which tasted fine, I only assumed the the next box would be identical. I made it on my lunch break immediately noticing the smell. Even so, I boxed it up and went back to work. When I opened the lid-starving at this point-it did smell, but I blamed my tupperware and took a bite from the middle and then threw it all away. I did some research and learned it had to be the pizza flavored mac. So gross.Recall please, it was a waste of my time & money.

I wrote a short essay about this for my Operations Management class: Thinking about last night's dinner, I have a great example of a product redesign failure. Betty Crocker recently introduced a new flavor of instant macaroni and cheese, called "Cheese Pizza Mac and Cheese." Sounds delicious judging from the name, but the cooked product smelled and tasted absolutely disgusting. I took a couple of bites and then threw it out. After looking over the on-line product reviews, everyone else who tired it did the same. This is obviously a product variation design-gone-wrong. I find it difficult to believe that anyone would find this product appetizing, so if the design development was sound then there must be a serious flaw in the manufacturing process. If not, then the design development probably failed either at the product feasibility analysis phase or the design review / market test phase. Betty Crocker evidently tried to introduce the flavor and seasonings of tomato sauce into the mix, which in my opinion ruins the whole idea of mac and cheese.
