Plan your exchange by determining a guest list and cookie quantity. Tip: For parties of 8 or fewer, ask guests to bring one dozen cookies per attendee. For parties of 9 or more, request 6 to 10 cookies per attendee.
Share the Joy
Half the fun of cookie exchanges is the packaging, so why not turn that part into the party? Set out trays, tins, boxes, wrappers, tags and bows and let your guests get creative. Add appetizers, drinks and music and you’ve got a party!
That’s a Wrap
Once the last treat has been assigned to its tray, it’s time to swap recipes. Tip: Inexpensive 4x6 photo albums work well for organizing recipe cards, plus they make great parting gifts.
