You don’t have to give up everything when making your New Year’s resolutions this year!

This year, I have a few resolutions for myself. For starters, I’m not making up a long list. That’s resolution number one.
Resolution #2: Don't stress about weight loss. I’ll just drink a glass of water before I eat anything. (Having a belly full of water totally cuts down on over-eating.) And always drink out of a pretty cup with a lemon wedge. That isn’t too much to ask, is it?
Resolution #3: Take my little doggie for a walk more often. Getting him outside and moving gets me outside and moving. It’s a quick, easy way to work more exercise into my days.
Resolution #4: Surround myself with pretty things. When I feel inspired by my surroundings, I feel more energetic and a whole lot more at peace. Now I just have to talk the husband into an increased “Pretty Things” budget. Wish me luck!
Resolution #5: Do NOT give up chocolate! This super simple recipe for S’Mores Bars can be sliced into one-bite eats, so I can get a smidgen of indulgence without feeling even a bit of guilt. They are rich and buttery, with all the classic flavors of S’mores. There’s no way I could live without such goodness in 2012!
Alright, I shared mine. Now you get to dish! What are your resolutions? What’s the one food you don’t want to live without?
