  Sugared Flowers, How to Make

Mix small amounts of powdered egg white and water, brush onto flower petals, leaving no gaps. Pasteurized egg whites can also be used. Sprinkle superfine sugar over flowers while the egg white mixture is wet until completely coated. Let stand on a wire rack at room temperature until dry.

HOW TO USE

Add garden-fresh beauty to any dessert with small edible flowers, or petals of larger edible flowers, that you have sugared. Violets, primroses and rose petals are good choices for sugaring.

HOW TO STORE

Store at room temperature for up to 2 days.
