  Soybeans

Soybeans come in many varieties and range in size from small peas to cherries. Though bland in flavor, they are becoming very popular because of their nutritional value. They're incorporated into energy and nutrition bars and salty, crunchy snacks and are being used like any other type of bean in all sorts of recipes. Much of the soybean harvest is processed into oil or tofu and tempeh, often used in meatless dishes.
