  Fondue

From the French word for "melt", fondue is, traditionally, a hot dish of melted cheese into which diners dip pieces of bread or other foods to be coated and then eaten. Fondues also can be oil or broth mixtures used for cooking meats and seafood, as well as chocolate dessert fondues. Fondues are "fun to do" because everyone participates and dips their own foods.
