Three-Bean Bacon Medley

Ingredients

  • 1 quart deli three-bean salad (4 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 8 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled

Steps

    Heat three-bean salad and brown sugar in 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until hot and sugar is dissolved.

    Sprinkle with bacon.

  • Two 15-ounce cans of three-bean salad, undrained, can be substituted for the deli salad.
  • Serving this salad in small shallow preserve or canning jars is fun. It's great for toting to picnics, and it keeps the bugs away.
