  • 1 bag (6 ounces) lettuce or 1/2 medium head lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
  • 2 cans (11 ounces each) mandarin orange segments, drained
  • 1/2 cup reduced-fat blue cheese dressing
  • 1/3 cup bacon flavor bits or chips

Steps

  • 1
Toss greens, lettuce and oranges in large salad bowl; refrigerate.
  • 2
Just before serving, toss with dressing. Sprinkle with bacon bits.

Tips from the Betty Crocker Kitchens

  • tip 1
Use one can of mandarin orange segments and one can of pineapple chunks for extra flavor and color.
  • tip 2
Save the juice from the canned oranges, and stir it into plain or vanilla yogurt for a fruity flavor!
  • tip 3
Use 4 fresh oranges, peeled and sectioned, instead of the mandarin oranges for a fresh twist.
