Ingredients

  • 1 lb fully cooked smoked ham, cut into 1/2-inch cubes (3 cups)
  • 4 medium stalks celery, chopped (2 cups)
  • 4 medium carrots, chopped (2 cups)
  • 1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
  • 3 1/2 cups Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32 oz carton)
  • 2 cups dried lentils (1 lb), sorted, rinsed
  • 4 cups water

    If you don't have leftover ham, purchase deli baked ham for this recipe and ask that it be cut into 1/2-inch slices. Then just cut each slice into 1/2-inch pieces.
