All the great taste of classic sloppy joe in an easy one-skillet pot pie made with ground beef, vegetables and whole kernel corn – a wonderful dinner. MORE + LESS -

Ingredients

pound ground beef

can (11 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained (1 1/3 cups)
1
medium onion, sliced and separated into rings

medium potatoes, thinly sliced
1/2
cup water
1
can (15 1/2 ounces) sloppy joe sauce

    Crumble beef into 10-inch skillet. Layer corn, onion and potatoes on beef; add water. Top with sloppy joe sauce.

    Cover and cook over low heat about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown and potatoes are tender.

Expert Tips

For a change of pace, use ground turkey in place of the ground beef.

When buying onions, choose those that are heavy for their size with dry, papery skins.
