Named for the big ski hills of New Hampshire, this snack mix will be a favorite for skiers, chalet-dwellers and chocolate lovers alike.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups Chocolate Chex™ cereal
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 4 bars (1.55 oz each) milk chocolate candy, coarsely chopped

    In large microwavable bowl, place cereal.

    In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave butter uncovered on High about 30 seconds or until melted. Stir in sugar and condensed milk. Microwave uncovered on High about 30 seconds or until hot; stir. Stir in cocoa.

    Pour over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Microwave uncovered on High 3 to 4 minutes, stirring every minute. Stir in marshmallows while mixture is still hot, to melt slightly. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Stir in milk chocolate candy. Store in airtight container.
