Expert Tips

  • Like brownies with nuts? Sprinkle chopped walnuts or other nuts on the baked brownies, or mix them into the brownie batter. For best flavor, toast the walnuts first.
  • Salt comes in many different types and flavors. Most grocery stores now carry at least 2 to 3 types of sea salts you can choose from.
  • To ensure your brownies do not stick, be sure to use a well-seasoned cast-iron skillet that has a smooth cooking surface without any defects or flaws.
