Roasted Garlic Spread with Peasant Bread

Ingredients

Garlic bulb
Olive oil
Salt
Pepper
Peasant bread or French bread

    Peel paperlike skin from each bulb of garlic, leaving just enough skin to hold cloves together. Cut a small slice from top of each bulb to expose cloves. Place each bulb on a square of aluminum foil. Drizzle with oil; season with salt and pepper. Wrap cloves up in a aluminum foil and bake in pan in 350°F; oven 45 to 50 minutes or until garlic is tender and can be pierced with a fork. Cool slightly; gently squeeze soft garlic out of cloves and spread torn pieces of bread.
