  • Red bell pepper, sliced
  • Rice crackers, if desired

Steps

  • 1
Heat chicken if desired. Spread chicken into 11x8-inch Christmas tree shape on serving platter or tray.
  • 2
Sprinkle with onions. Decorate with bell pepper. Serve with crackers.

Tips from the Betty Crocker Kitchens

  • tip 1
If you are heating the chicken, serve this appetizer on a warming tray so it stays warm throughout your party.
  • tip 2
Hacked chicken is available at Chinese restaurants. It is a mix-ture of shredded cooked chicken, sesame paste and peanut sauce and is served as a cold appetizer. Two cups of shredded cooked chicken mixed with 1/3 cup thick peanut sauce can be used instead. Or use 2 cups of a thick, flavorful barbecue meat mixture of your choice, and serve warm or cold.
