Ingredients

  • 1 package (9 oz) refrigerated three cheese-filled tortellini
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped (1 cup)
  • 6 oz sliced pepperoni (from 8-oz package), chopped (about 1 3/4 cups)
  • 1 jar (25.5 oz) Muir Glen™ tomato pasta sauce (any flavor)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)
  • Fresh basil leaves, if desired

Steps

  • 1
In 5-quart Dutch oven, cook tortellini as directed on package, adding bell pepper during entire cooking time. Drain and return to Dutch oven.
  • 2
Stir pepperoni and pasta sauce into tortellini mixture; cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated. Top individual servings with cheese. Garnish with basil.

  • Refrigerated pastas have a shorter cooking time than dry pasta, making them a great choice for nights when you need to make dinner quickly.
  • Other favorite pizza toppings, such as olives or cooked sausage, can be used in this recipe.
