Who said sandwiches had to be boring? This turkey avocado sandwich recipe will have you looking forward to lunch all morning long! A California-inspired sandwich made with slices of turkey, avocado, spinach and red onion makes for a fresh and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 avocado, pit removed
  • 2 slices whole grain bread
  • Spinach leaves
  • Sliced turkey
  • Sliced red onion
  • Fresh lemon juice

Steps

  • 1
    Remove avocado flesh from avocado half; spread on one side of each slice of bread. Top 1 slice with spinach, turkey and onion; drizzle with lemon juice. Cover with remaining slice of bread, avocado side down.
