Ingredients

1/3
cup whipped cream cheese spread

purchased crostini
1/3
cup orange marmalade
12
slices prosciutto
2
tablespoons chopped fresh basil
1
tablespoon olive oil
Grated peel from 1 orange
Salt and fresh ground black pepper

    Spread about 1/2 teaspoon cream cheese spread onto 1 side of each crostini. Spread about 1/2 teaspoon marmalade over cheese spread on each but do not cover cheese completely.

    Lightly roll each prosciutto slice into cone shape; place over marmalade on each.

    Place crostini on serving plate. Sprinkle with basil, orange peel, salt and pepper; drizzle olive oil over each. Serve immediately.

Expert Tips

  • Make sure to use the whipped cream cheese spread. It spreads easily and won’t break the crostini.
  • Sliced baguette French bread can be used in place of the purchased crostini.
  • Recipe is perfect for an afternoon brunch or as an appetizer before dinner or for a cocktail party.
