Elvis certainly wasn’t the only fan of peanut butter and bananas. The popular combo gets a tasty upgrade in this quick, low-fat appetizer recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped cream cheese spread
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 48 round buttery crackers
  • 8 medium fresh strawberries
  • 2 small bananas

Steps

    In medium bowl, mix cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar and vanilla. Spread about 1 1/2 teaspoons cream cheese mixture on each cracker.

    Cut each strawberry lengthwise in half; cut each half into 3 wedges. Cut each banana lengthwise in half, then cut crosswise into 12 slices. Place 1 banana slice and 1 strawberry wedge on each cracker.
