Your friends will dig into bowls of this snack mix made with shredded coconut, almonds and candy-coated chocolate. Better make an extra batch!

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (8.75 oz) Chex Mix® Honey Nut snack mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup candy-coated chocolate covered almond or coconut-flavored candies

Steps

    In large bowl, mix together the snack mix, coconut, and almonds.

    In small saucepan, heat butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup over medium heat just until it begins to boil. Remove from heat and pour over the snack mix. Stir to coat with the syrup, then toss in the chocolate candies. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
