Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 small red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 1 small green bell pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 cups hot cooked pasta (any variety)

Steps

    Melt butter in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Cook bell peppers, lemon peel, chives, salt and pepper, stirring occasionally, until bell peppers are crisp-tender. Stir in lemon juice; cook until hot. Serve over hot cooked pasta.
