Honey-Lime Mopped Drumsticks

For a five-ingredient 25-minute entrée, try these grilled drumsticks with a flavorful sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 teaspoons garlic-pepper blend
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

Steps

    Heat gas or charcoal grill. Sprinkle chicken with garlic-pepper blend. In small bowl, stir honey and lime juice with whisk until blended; set aside.

    Place chicken on grill over medium heat. Cover grill; cook 15 to 20 minutes, turning frequently and brushing with honey mixture during last 10 minutes of cooking time, until juice of chicken is clear when thickest part is cut to bone (at least 165°F).

    Remove chicken from grill to serving plate; sprinkle with cilantro. Discard any remaining honey mixture.

    To broil the drumsticks, set oven control to broil. Place drumsticks on broiler pan. Broil with tops about 6 inches from heat 22 to 27 minutes, brushing with honey mixture during last 10 minutes.
