Ingredients

  • 1 bag (12 oz) frozen cut green beans OR sweet peas

Steps

  • 1
Cook beans or peas as directed on bag; cool 5 minutes.
  • 2
Place in food processor; process until smooth, adding water as needed for desired consistency.
  • 3
Spoon into ice cube trays or freezer-safe glass jars. Cover and freeze. When frozen, pop cubes out of trays and transfer to resealable freezer plastic bags. Label bags with type of food and date. Use within 3 months.
  • 4
To serve, move a cube from freezer to small bowl in refrigerator several hours before serving to thaw. Or heat cube in small microwavable bowl uncovered on Defrost, stirring every few seconds, just until thawed and barely warm. Check temperature of baby's food before serving.
