Traditional julep ingredients are paired with summer-fresh blackberries and transformed into a refreshing frappe in this easy-fix recipe.
To make about 1 1/4 cups blackberry-mint puree, place 1 pint fresh or frozen (thawed) blackberries and 1/2 cup packed fresh mint leaves in a blender. Cover; blend on high speed until pureed. Strain to remove seeds. Store in refrigerator until ready to use.
Honey or agave nectar can be substituted for sugar.
