Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb halibut steaks (1 inch thick), cut into 2 serving pieces
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 sprigs dill weed
  • 2 lemon slices (1/4 inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons dry white wine or nonalcoholic white wine

Steps

    Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. Pat fish dry with paper towels; place in baking dish.

    Sprinkle fish with salt. Place dill weed sprig and lemon slice on each fish piece. Pour wine over fish.

    Bake uncovered 20 to 25 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.
