Celebrate the long-running Massachusetts cranberry tradition with this homemade snack mix laced with cranberry and orange.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
  • 3 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
  • 3 cups Wheat Chex™ cereal
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup frozen (thawed) orange juice concentrate
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries

    In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals and almonds.
  • 2
    In 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave butter, brown sugar and juice concentrate uncovered on High 30 seconds; stir. Microwave 30 to 45 seconds longer or until butter is melted; stir. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.

    Microwave uncovered on High about 5 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until mixture begins to brown. Stir in cranberries. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container.
