1Drain pears, reserving juice in 4-cup measuring cup. Add enough water to juice to measure 3 1/2 cups liquid. Chop pears; set aside.
2In 2-quart saucepan, heat juice mixture to boiling. Stir in oats, cinnamon and salt. Cook over medium heat about 5 minutes for old-fashioned oats (about 1 minute for quick-cooking oats), stirring occasionally. Gently stir in chopped pears.
3Spoon oatmeal into serving bowls. Top with walnuts, brown sugar and milk.
