Three flavors of Chex cereal, pretzels and cashews are blended together for a snack mix that will add the taste of fun to any party.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
  • 2 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
  • 2 cups Wheat Chex™ cereal
  • 2 cups small pretzel squares
  • 1 cup salted cashews
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps

    Heat oven to 275°F. In ungreased shallow roasting pan, mix all ingredients until well coated.

    Bake uncovered 45 minutes, stirring once. Spread on paper towels to cool.

    Small pretzel squares are sometimes called “snaps.” You can use any bite-size pretzel shape, such as pretzel twists.

    Salted peanuts can be substituted for the cashews.
  • tip 3
    For a sweet and savory bridge mix, stir in chocolate-covered nuts or raisins, or other candies of your choice, after the mixture is cool.
