Buttermilk Green Goddess Dressing

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh chives
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh tarragon leaves
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons anchovy paste
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste

    In 3-cup or larger jar with tight-fitting lid, place all ingredients. Seal jar; shake vigorously until ingredients are well combined.

    Pour dressing over your favorite salad. Store in refrigerator up to 1 week.

  • Be sure to chop the fresh herbs as finely as possible so their flavors can be imparted throughout the dressing.
  • Don’t be locked in by the recipe measurements—adjust the ingredients to your taste!
