Sneak a peak at all the excitement inside the world-famous Betty Crocker Test Kitchens. ‘Tis the season for cookies, sweets and snow here in Golden Valley, Minnesota. And with our festive new decorations, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
On Monday we got into the spirit of the season with, what else, cookies! Employees from every corner of General Mills descended on the kitchens to help decorate more than 2,000 sugar cookies for local food shelves.
Tuesday and Wednesday were work as usual – developing holiday cocktails and perfecting peppermint rims.
Then came the recipe contest. Doug Moore, VP of Advertising and Branding of General Mills put on The Moore the Merrier Contest. The challenge: To develop the best original recipe for entertaining. The prizes: coffee makers, gift baskets and a tablet–oh my! Competition was stiff, the stakes were high and the event was a delicious success. Get a taste of the winning recipes right here!
