How to Plan a Stress-Free Easter Brunch

Easter Brunch

Hosting Easter brunch doesn’t have to be a hair-raising experience. These easy tips will make it simple.

Every year, I host Easter brunch for my family, and I have it down to a stress-free science. The key to success is all in the planning–particularly the menu planning.

Here’s my blueprint for easy Easter brunch cooking:

Make-ahead French toast. Do-ahead French toast is a substantial treat that everyone will love. And since the preparation is done the night before, all you have to do is slide the pan into the oven to bake on Easter morning. Here are two great options:

Stovetop scrambled eggs. I love quiches and fritattas as much as the next gal, but when it comes to Easter brunch, keep the eggs simple with an easy stovetop recipe, like the following.

Make smart meat choices. Easter brunch isn’t complete without a tasty meat to go with it. But you need to be smart about it. A spiral ham is ideal, but only if you have a double oven (since it will need to bake at the same time as the French toast). If you don’t have a double oven, go for precooked sausage, which will only need to be reheated on the stovetop.

Load up on produce. The best thing about the Easter menu is that it falls during a time of year when a greater selection of fresh fruits (and veggies!) is available. So serving fruit is a must for every Easter brunch. You can either arrange a platter of sliced fruit, make some pretty fruit kabobs or toss together a delicious fruit salad.

And that’s it! Keeping the menu simple is an important part of hosting a stress-free Easter brunch. And for dessert, make it a potluck! Have all your guests bring a sweet to share, and you’ll have a fabulous selection of treats for your special Easter Brunch.

Enjoy!
