This reminds me of my grandmothers recipe in which we couldn't wait for christmas holidays when she made her calzones from italy the taste of the capers and oinions with cheese and meats just was a meal one would not forget with almounds on the outside and olives and the capers gave it a very good taste.

I made this for the first time the other night and adapted it to mine and my husbands taste (Mushrooms, greenpeppers, etc). What a Hit! My husband LOVED it. Can't wait to make it for my Grandson. I made them smaller than the recipe calls for so you are able to hold one in your hand and eat it.

It was very Biscuty tasting and a bit plain. You must be careful not to let the crust become doughy. I thought this recipe was just OK nothing special.

It was pretty good. I made it with turkey since that''s what I had, however it was sooooo dry! Next time I will fill it full of other good stuff!!
