When I made this soup I didn't have any chicken on hand and I subbed a four pack of Old Timer chorizo. My family thought it was really zesty but they loved it. With this modification, this is one of the few recipes I would rate as 5 stars. Not only is it tasty it goes togther so fast and is so simple to make. Spidge
