Ingredients

medium unpeeled red apples, diced

medium unpeeled pears, diced
1/2
cup thinly sliced celery
1/2
cup golden raisins
1/2
cup chopped dates
1/4
cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/4
cup Yoplait® Original 99% Fat Free orange crème yogurt (from 6-oz container)

tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate
8
cups shredded lettuce
Walnut halves, if desired

  • 1 In large bowl, mix apples, pears, celery, raisins and dates.
  • 2 In small bowl, mix mayonnaise, yogurt and juice concentrate until well blended. Add to fruit; toss to coat. (Salad can be refrigerated up to 1 hour.)
  • 3 Serve salad on lettuce. Garnish with walnut halves.

I made this one along with the more "traditional" waldorf salad. My family loved them both. They both are very different but have their place and time when they perfactly compliment the dinner or party. This one here works for both winter and summer.

YumOOOOO Great Quick and easy.... Health too... Next time I'll try some Mandarin Oranges Slices to it.I did not put the raisins or dates in it. How about some Pecans??????

This is a fabulous salad! I made this for a church potluck and I didn't even get to sample it! The only thing I did to "tweak" the recipe was that I used the entire 6oz container of organge creme yogurt and I added dried cranberries because my family loves them. Very easy to make and extremely tasty.
