medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)

slice bacon, cut up

clove garlic, finely chopped

lb spinach leaves

tablespoons lime juice
  1. In 4-quart Dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat. Cook onion, bacon and garlic in oil 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until bacon is crisp; reduce heat to low.
  2. Stir in salt, pepper and nutmeg. Gradually add spinach. Toss just until spinach is wilted. Drizzle with lime juice.
