I used Uncle Ben's Ready Rice and a can of chicken breast. The whole dish assembled fast and looks pretty with the wild rice mixed into the dough.

I've made this several times now and love it. However, I add a little extra milk to the filling, and I make my own biscuit recipe for the topping.

We enjoyed this recipe but found it a bit dry. I'd add a little bit more milk next time. I also used chopped onions, cooked slightly. The cranberry sauce suggestion was a great idea and absolutely made the dish.

Second time: This recipe is good on it's own but try adding 1/2 c. milk instead of 1/4 as it's a bit dry, finely chop some fresh mushrooms, onion & celery and cook to tender for filling (well worth the extra 5 minutes)and with fresh mushrooms, I changed soup to cream of chicken, then top each serving with canned or left over turkey gravy and definitely serve with orange-spiked cranberry sauce. Wow, it's delicious!!!

The flavor was good - needed some pepper - but was VERY dry - my family felt it needed some gravy topping or something to improve the dryness

My 13 year old daughter doubled this recipe and made it for dinner as per recipe. It was very good, easy even for a beginner cook! The presentation was also pretty with the perfect crust, and the steam coming out when scooped into. This was perfect with a green salad. We will make this again.
