EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

For about 8 1/2 dozen small cookies, drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 11 to 14 minutes.

Oats are loaded with fiber--the soluble kind that helps lower blood cholesterol. Start slowly so you have time to get used to more fiber!

I made these for my very picky family and to my surprise they all loved them. My husband usually thinks that I am trying to kill him when I make him something healthy but he loved these. I used Splenda brown sugar blend to cut down on the sugar. I will definitely make these again

This recipe has a nice, chewy texture and is a great "starter" recipe. If you're someone who likes to put your own spin on a recipe, grab this one and run. I used a corn flake cereal instead of Clusters and mint baking chips instead of chocolate chips. They're incredible! Will make them with peanut butter chips next time... and there WILL be a next time! One more thing-- it's ok to use 1 cup vegetable spread for this recipe (instead of half butter and half oil). Still turns out great.
