EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

The nice thing about this fruity, refreshing drink is that inexpensive liqueur, vodka and wine can be used because the flavor doesn't rely solely upon alcohol. Try Triple Sec for the orange liqueur and a Chablis Blanc or Chardonnay for the dry white wine.

For a decorative effect, cut notches out of the citrus peel on some of the fruit slices.

Very tasty! Do not like to add suger, instead use a sweeter wine with a dry wine. Does not have to be expensive wine when adding fruit & liquor to make the Sangria. Fresh fruit makes the refreshing drink.

This is great! We have learned to use the orange juice and even Walmart wine makes a great drink that everyone seems to like. Be sure to warn your guests that it is now orange juice!

I couldn't remember the ingredients, so I used 1 cup each of peach schnapps and triple sec, with a bottle of chardonnay, and sliced peaches and oranges into the pitcher. We put the seltzer/sparkling water into the glasses as we served, and it was amazing! Everyone loved it - a nice start to summer.
