One of my dearest friends loves Texas Sheet Cake and her favorite cake is white so when I saw this recipe I was excited to try it for her birthday. I followed the recipe but did not use the nuts. I am sorry to say that although it was good I will not be making it again. It tastes just like a plain white boxed cake mix but it was a lot more trouble to make. It was not dense or moist like a texas sheet cake and we could not detect the white chocolate flavor.

Excellent, moist & full of flavor! I baked this recipe in 2-8" (2"deep)pans so it took quite a bit longer to bake (about 45 min.)I added 1t vanilla. And I changed the frosting to a white chocolate whipped cream, omitted the nuts (this time) and used crushed oreos (kids request). Yummy. I will use this recipe for many different variations in the future. It's very versitile.

I made this for a young ladies birthday in our Theatre group and received raves from age 7 through 70. Came out perfect in an airbake sheet cake pan. No alterations recommended.

I am a red-hatter with a meeting coming up held at my house. I have the original recipe for Tex She Ck. which has many ingredients. By far...your one is great. Why didn't I think of B.C. cake mix. Will let you know how it turns out. Be ready for me. I will be crowned Queenie of desserts. WOW!!!!!Will rate it low cause I have not tried it. Being honest.....
