I made 2 pitchers for a rooftop pot luck party and I should have made more. Everyone really liked the flavor and agreed it is very refreshing. I only used 3/4 cup of sugar too because I felt the watermelon was sweet enough. Never missed the left out sugar. Definately recommend this.

This is very good! Used less sugar; Watermelon makes it sweet on its own.

I thought this was very good..Just a note about a previous review. This is supposed to be served in small glasses..If you look at the picture you can see they are small and would not be able to use large glasses to get that serving yield.

I made this last night and was planning on using it tonight when I had family come in to town. I made it up and it only made 1/2 gallon. That is not enough to have for 7 people unless you got little glasses of it. I used a whole small watermelon as it alone was at least 5 pounds, used 5 lemons and 3 limes. And I didn't use the whole cup of sugar, probably only 3/4 of a cup. It did take a while to cut the watermelon and juice the lemons (I don't have a lemon juicer, need to get one). We just drank it last night instead. It tastes great! No flavor really takes over another, it's just cool and refreshing. When I make it again I'm going to do a bigger watermelon and more lemons and just buy lime juice cause the one's I had gave hardly any juice. Overall, it tasted great, just a lot of work for not very much juice.

I made this last weekend. I used half a large watermelon, 4 lemons and 2 limes. It was great. There is a depth of flavor, no one flavor overpowers another. The kids LOVED it. All their friends, too.

Actually, you can find Watermelon juice in the orange juice section- it will save you some time on blending and straining! :)

I made this the other day for a bunch of kids and they loved it! I am not a big lemonade fan and I actually enjoyed it too. I used 1/2 of a seedless watermelon and only 3 lemons and it was great. Making it again for fathers day.

I made this today and it was a big hit. I added extra lemon juice, though, so it had more of a lemonade flavor. If ound 4 lemons was just not enough.
